What We’re Building

The first job is to think about this as something different than a newsletter. We’re launching a new kind of weekly business communication — short, sharp, and actually useful — designed for professionals and entrepreneurs in their 30s to 50s. It’ll be distributed on LinkedIn and via email.

 

We want it to feel like a curated spark of value for positive business professionals at the beginning of their workweek. Not another recycled quote or clickbait headline — but something worth quickly scanning for immense interest and value to those who follow.

Each drop will cover topics like:

 

• ✅     A cool tech trend (AI, tools, hardware, software)
• ✅     A standout stock or market move to be aware of
• ✅     A simple, unexpected health tip or fitness insight
• ✅     One or two inspiring or intriguing news stories (non-politically polarizing) that make for good business or social conversation starters
• ✅     A clean, smart fashion pick for men and women (with affiliate links  — yes, there’s a monetization plan 😉)
  
   

This is a startup project — a 3-month launch with a path to profitability. We’re treating it like a lean startup inside an already successful company. Longer term the goal is to support a part-time employee or grow into a standalone brand with 100,000+ email and social subscribers.
 

Almost all content will be conceived and developed via AI, and then polished / verified by the chosen intern.
 

What You’ll Do

You’ll work directly with the SummaCode hiring manager to:
 

• Help shape the format and content structure of the newsletter
• Research and pitch ideas for each weekly segment
• Bring creative energy to the tone, layout, and delivery style
• Collaborate on tools for publishing
• Brainstorm affiliate ideas, growth paths, and mini-strategies for monetization
• You’ll keep it cool and punchy, but very valuable to seasoned professionals who are always looking for a relevant edge, an icebreaker in a meeting, and a way to stay mentally, physically, and spiritually sharp.

Who You Are

This role is perfect for you if you’re:

• Passionate about content, storytelling, or digital media
• Interested in business and entrepreneurship
• Someone who reads the Skimm, Morning Brew, or Tim Ferriss-style roundups and says “I could do that — but better...and specifically for professionals.”
• Naturally curious, and can distill complex info into something clear and punchy
• Organized and self-motivated
• Comfortable working remotely and checking in over Zoom or Teams
